    Y-Care CSR Newsletter - 1st Issue

By working with business through various channels over the years, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (YMCA) has encouraged corporations to devote more resources and care for the disadvantaged in the society so as to promote social inclusion. To build closer ties with the business world, we have specially prepared Y CARE – CSR and look forward to working hand in hand with various corporations to serve the community.

The Power of CSR- Corporate Luncheon

    Date: 28 February 2014
YMCA organised the first Corporate Luncheon and invited over 50 representatives from 26 corporations (including CLP, MTR, Hang Seng Bank, Wharf, Microsoft, and other corporations) to attend. Representatives were invited to share the strategies they employed for serving the community and its needs. There were also sessions to exchange ideas regarding corporate social responsibility and future trends. It is hoped that this activity will strengthen the links between YMCA and various corporations and allow us to further explore suitable service models. YMCA also participated in the “Caring Company Partnership Expo 2014” organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in the afternoon. Through this platform, we aim to introduce YMCA’s service to different sectors of society, building bridges of communication with each other and seeking opportunities for future cooperation.
