Service Highlights

We would like to thank our partners in different sectors for supporting us in major events and matters, which has allowed for the smooth implementation of services and work to help those in need.
Some past corporate volunteer activities:
Sunlight Little Ironman Triathlon photo
For the last two years, the Sunlight REIT, a Y-Care Corporate Partner of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, has sponsored and fully supported our “Sunlight Little Ironman Triathlon”. This biggest parent-child triathlon in Hong Kong attracted 120 children and parents this year, including 25 family teams. The event provided a unique chance for children and parents to boost their communication skills, work together as a team and explore their personal potential.
The children and parents were divided into teams with three members. Each team member is responsible for one of the sports – either swimming, cycling or running – assigned according to the participants’ abilities. This year Mr. Lee Chi-wo, a former Hong Kong triathlete’s was the event ambassador.
“Volunteering Citywide” programme photo
Since 2009, Glorious Sun Group has sponsored the YMCA’s “Volunteering Citywide” programme. Every year, the programme organises a number of recreational and cultural activities for the disadvantaged, including the elderly, the mentally handicapped, the hearing impaired and low-income families. Being actively involved in the programme, Glorious Sun Group volunteers work closely with the YMCA to deliver these activities and promote social unity.
