Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong has received the Honors Award in Interior Design (Non-Profit Organization Category) at the 2016 International ARC Awards for its Annual Report 2014/15. This is the first time the Association wins an award at this widely recognized “Oscars for Annual Reports”.

Founded by MerComm, Inc. New York in 1987, the International ARC Awards - regarded as the “Annual Report Oscars” is the world’s largest competition. Each year, more than 70 countries and over 2,000 corporations, non-governmental organisation and government organisation will compete for nearly 30 awards in Cover Design, Chairman’s Letter, Script, Interior Design, Financial Data categories and more.

As one of the largest non-profit organisations in Hong Kong, the Association puts a lot of effort into designing and publishing our annual report, publicly showcase our many service achievements. Our 2014-2015 annual report adopted the themes: “The Fruit of the Spirit” and “Basketball”, with the cover printed with a texture which mimicked the convex surface of a basketball, reminding us that basketballs were invented by the YMCA in 1891 in Massachusetts in the United States. We are grateful and honoured to have received the Honors award in the category of Interior Design: Non-Profit Organisation. The receipt of this award shows that our annual report design has reached an international standard. The Association will strive to provide innovative services in the coming future.
